Andrea Chilcote transforms business outcomes by serving as a trusted advisor to leaders as they conceive and enact sustainable strategic objectives that align opportunities, talent, processes and structure. Her leadership and business change management strategies have enabled organizations to prosper as market leaders or weather unforeseen industry or economic downturns. For over 17 years, she has inspired leaders and their teams to tackle the perceived insurmountable obstacles that are the key differentiators between mediocre outcomes and peak performance. Trust in Andrea’s expertise and values enable leaders to take a courageous risk that is transformative in their lives as well as the viability of their organizations.
Andrea has created results with a wide variety of companies in diverse business sectors. Her expertise spans:
Leadership development through proven and innovative processes.
Team and individual assessment to uncover hidden enablers or derailers of optimum collaboration.
Innovative learning opportunities that strengthen technical and leadership competencies.
Executive coaching that is personal, customized and gets results.
Organizational design for a complex global world.
Communications skills that make an intentional impact in a world of double speak and political correctness.
Work includes organizational development initiatives as well as specific assignments with executives and their teams. One recent challenge was to engage leaders in a Fortune 500 company to build an organization that reflected a new purpose, mission, and values after years of constant change and turmoil within the industry and the organization itself. She created a custom competency model and corresponding 360 assessments, a performance management system that links business unit goals, core values and competencies to performance metrics, led succession planning and developed core leadership curricula with unique simulations and action learning projects.

I co-shot an internet radio show with Susan Reece, PhD, CEO of Dalton Spencer Consulting. It is heard Mondays at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET on the VoiceAmerica Business Channel. http://www.modavox.com/voiceamerica/vshow.aspx?sid=1505
Today’s chaotic world packages illusory images as reality. Our brain is simultaneously insightful and deceptive. How do we sort reality from illusion and transform intention into impact in practical ways?
Susan and Andrea have a common sense way of distilling complications into crystallized steps to bring order to chaos. Sometimes you can’t identify the root problem—or you can but don't know what to do. Often, you know what to do but don't. The show features provocative topics that are on your mind and offers tools to enable success. The hosts have a unique sense of timing; they focus on the issues that matter to you now. One illusion is that life's answers are invisible to many of us. In reality, life's answers are simple while the discipline of implementation is not easy. Simple Not Easy is broadcast live every Monday at 7 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Business Channel.
Our website features tools and techniques for creating intentional impact in a chaotic world. Both Andrea and Susan consult, publish and speak in areas of leadership, interpersonal effectiveness and strategy. Their forthcoming book on Intentional Impact will be available in the second half of 2009.
