I have had a wonderful start to 2009. I have been nominated for two statewide awards for my valuable contributions to TMA Nevada for two categories as follows:

Renewal Professional of the Year Award

I won the TMA of Nevada’s Small Business Turnaround/Corporate Renewal Professional of the Year Award. In addition, I have signed on and currently working on a new turnaround client that holds two companies under one holding company. I am the sole practitioner on this case and we are already seeing great progress.

This is a busy time for the turnaround industry. As you can see from my profile, I will not stand idly around either now or with your client’s firm. I am not the typical new MBA looking for an Associate position with your firm. I instruct those new MBAs in strategic management and turnarounds, have a successful and proven consulting track record, continuously engaged in speaking to “refers”, and most importantly built up a list of contacts through interaction and assignments with PE, venture capital, lenders, CPAs, lawyers, and fellow turnaround professionals.

I believe this is the most import aspect of a consultant, bringing in the deals. If you are not bringing the deals (and closing them) then you better be working on them.
