In my current job, senior vice president, Digital Communications, The Nielsen Company, I'm responsible for worldwide strategy, development and utilization of all online channels for corporate communications and marketing.

Prior to that I served as vice president, Online Communications, at American Express where I was responsible for global efforts for using the Internet and associated methods to communicate with the media, employees, shareholders and other important constituents.

Before American Express I was with IBM for eight years, holding a variety of positions with responsibilities ranging across most of the disciplines within corporate communications, including: media and analyst relations; internal/employee communications; executive communications; intranet and Internet development; annual report production; special corporate strategic projects.

I've also spent time at a few PR agencies representing consumer and technology clients and served as a journalist in Europe.
