I am a corporate communications/Internet professional currently serving as senior vice president, Digital Communications, for the The Nielsen Company. In this role, I'm responsible for global strategy, development and utilization of all online channels for corporate communications and marketing and strategic communications leadership for many of Nielsen's individual business divisions, primarily Online (NetRatings and BuzzMetrics), the Telecommunications Practice, and Nielsen IAG (advertising effectiveness measurement).
Prior to that I was vice president, Online Communications, at American Express where I was responsible for guiding the company's efforts for using the Internet and associated online tools and capabilities to communicate with the media, employees, shareholders and other important constituents.
Before American Express I was with IBM for eight years, holding a variety of positions ranging across most of the disciplines within corporate communications. These include: media and analyst relations; internal and employee communications; executive communications; intranet and Internet development; annual report production; special corporate strategic projects.
I've also worked at PR agencies representing consumer and technology clients and served as a journalist in Eastern Europe.
