Ana L. Flores has over 15 years of experience as a content creator and television producer, with a specialty in the U.S. Hispanic industry. After becoming a mom, she co-founded SpanglishBaby, the award-winning, go-to online community and resource for parents raising bilingual and bicultural.

In December of 2010, Ana appeared on the cover of Hispanic Business Magazine as “The New Face of Social Media," just one month after launching Latina Bloggers Connect, Inc, a boutique digital influencer marketing agency where she creates strategic content marketing and native advertising campaigns connecting brands and social causes with digital Latina influencers and bloggers. She began LBC as a one-woman show, launching the site, developing content and making connections with bloggers and marketers of prestigious Fortune 500 companies. Today, Latina Bloggers Connect is consolidated as the largest network of digital Latina influencers in all verticals with over 1500 opt-in influencers with a collective unique reach of 26 million readers.

Ana coauthored the book Bilingual is Better: Two Latina Moms on How the Bilingual Parenting Revolution is Changing the Face of America and can also be found on her personal lifestyle blog MadreVida.com, her weekly Babble Voices column, as a latinamom.me writer, and as a contributor and advocate of the Moms Clean Air Force and a United Nations Foundation Social Fellow. She’s also had the honor of presenting at conferences such as BlogHer, The Adelante Movement, LATISM, New Generation Latino Consortium, Blissdom, Hispanicize, Blogalicious, Digital Hollywood and BlogWorld Expo, and of partnering with LATISM to spearhead the Top Latina Bloguera Retreat in Washington D.C., where 70 bloggers were invited to receive a briefing at the White House.

November 2010Present (3 years 11 months) Los Angeles

Latina Bloggers Connect started with a simple idea: community. Together, we support bloggers and brands in building authentic collaborations that deliver measurable results.

Founded in 2010, Latina Bloggers Connect was the first digital agency dedicated to connecting brands exclusively with Latina bloggers and social media influencers, one of the most coveted groups online, through in-culture and in-language content marketing and native advertising social media campaigns.

A Latina women owned and operated business, in just three years the client roster has included Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Amway, AT&T, Kleenex, Kikkoman, Ford, Aveeno, Mc Donald's, Sprint, Kellogg's, Neutrogena, Mary Kay, Huggies, Jergen's, Dove, Lubriderm, Hallmark, Coca-Cola, Maseca, Cacique, AT&T, and more.

As an influential blogger herself, Founder and CEO Ana Flores, also the co-founder of SpanglishBaby.com, brings her insider know-how of the blogging community and successful outreach strategies to create effective campaigns and strategies for our clients.

Ana looked to the community itself to shape the right team and roles that could guide the growth and evolution of Latina Bloggers Connect. All members of the LBC management team continue to also actively participate in the community and contribute to brand campaigns.

  • Bilingual is Better: Two Latina Moms on How the Bilingual Parenting Revolution is Changing the Face of America

    • Bilingual Readers
    • September 19, 2011

For years immigrants were told that the only way for their children to embrace American culture was to leave behind their heritage language and speak only English.

But what if this advice was based solely on political motives and not the well being of children?

What if the truth was that all children in America, regardless of their cultural background, would actually benefit from learning two languages?

The answer to this question has sparked a new bilingual parenting revolution, which is changing the face of America.

A perfect blend of hilarious anecdotes and solid research, Bilingual Is Better is a useful, engaging read which is sure to spark conversation and positive change.

Bilingual Is Better debunks old stereotypes and sheds new light on hot topics such as:

Immigration and the power of the Latino community

What it means to be fully American and still embrace your heritage culture

The growing importance of Spanish in the United States and why all children should learn Spanish

The many cognitive and emotional benefits of being bilingual

The growing trend among non-Hispanic families who are now raising bilingual children

Bilingual education and how dual immersion programs could close the achievement gap in just six years
