I have extensive experience in both providing clinical services to adolescents and their families and in providing dynamic training experiences for school and community groups on suicide prevention and other topics related to adolescent mental health. I also have special expertise in the areas of child and adolescent trauma, traumatic grief and juvenile justice.

Provided leadership to the Middlesex County Traumatic Loss Coalition, a group of interdisciplinary professionals in Middlesex County NJ. The TLC provided resource, referral and consultation to schools and other child-serving community groups in the wake of traumatic loss incidents. In this position I helped to create the first county-wide crisis response team for schools. I also assisted in the development of the county's proposal to the US Department of Education for a Emergency Response and Crisis Management grant, which was funded in the fall of 2006.

Then transferred to the Child Crisis Intervention Unit (Screening) and the Regional Response Unit, where I provided services to adolescents in the county juvenile detention center and youth shelter.
