Amy Levy’s Summary

I design and sew clothing, costumes, and corsets for my own company, Spider Threads. I also write, and am currently seeking an editor for my first novel, tentatively titled "Vignette." I decided to take a break from computers as a career for a while, though not forever.

Prior to opening Spider Threads, I worked for several years as a programmer/senior manager for iHigh.com (a division of HOST Communications). After earning a degree in Paralegal Studies, I worked pro bono for Legal Aid of the Bluegrass.

I have taught both adult education and college level courses in several areas of computer science and software applications.

I have also managed my own software consulting firm for many years, handling such diverse clients needs as court room videography, compatibility matching, medical records automation, inventory control, and federal transportation regulations compliance management.

My previous last names include "Gerrish" and "Hall;" these are provided for those who do not recognize my married name.
