Senior Software Engineer

From May 2011 to Present, Senior Software Engineer - Cloud:
Development & Operations (DevOps) role in producing Splunk's second major product, Splunk Storm, a software-as-a-service version of our existing enterprise product. Lead infrastructure engineering for cloud deployment and architected many solutions for scaling as service utilization grew, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Service Oriented Architecture. Served as a mentor for junior developers in helping standardize software quality through reviews, style and coverage.

From August 2008 to May 2011, Software Engineer - QA:
Responsible for testing a major component of our software product, including planning, writing and reporting on tests within the release cycle. Worked with system component engineering teams to test and debug large scale customer issues. Built and maintained large scale system & network stress testing cluster (it found 4 crashes in one night!)
