After working in publishing for a few years, I realized my heart was really in translations. Since 2000, I've been working as a freelance translator, under the company name Babylonia, which I run with my DH, a web designer. Over the years, I've translated a very diverse portfolio of books and documents, ranging from birthing books for mothers-to-be to technical manuals and exhibition brochures. I've been recently sworn in as a translator and hope to be doing more legal work.
My plans are to go back to teaching part-time, to pass on my knowledge of the language and the British way of life ;)
