At Satyam, my primary responsibility is to enhance the pre-sales and delivery processes to improve sales-conversion ratio and to aid programme governance. Major achievements are as below.
• Managing commercials, change control and contracts for large IT separation programme involving Ford and Jaguar & Land Rover.
• Managed continuous improvement planning programme for a large consumer goods client by motivating busy project teams to generate enhancement ideas. This drive generated over 60 ideas, a few of which were pursued to become actual projects, leading to higher revenue realisation.
• Designed and managed knowledge transition process from a client’s former IT service partner to Satyam, factoring various constraints including client SME availability, previous partner’s contractual obligations with the client, ramp-up time of Satyam associates, etc.
• Managed pre-sales process for a marquee retail account, eventually resulting in Satyam winning the deal, on account of our deeper understanding of the client’s business environment & greater relevance of solution offering, as perceived by the client.
