TaKaDu is a Water Network Management company, providing a service solution for water loss reduction and network monitoring. Our analytical solution uses mathematical methods in order to detect, classify and locate leakage events and other annomalies in water networks. The solution uses the continuous meter readings (flow & pressure) available in water distribution systems. Our solution does not require any intervention in the network operation or any equipment installation.
Prior to TaKaDu, in mid-2005, I co-founded YaData, in the field of Behavioral Targeting, and led its rapid growth until its acquisition by Microsoft in early 2008. During that time, YaData raised one round of financing from two leading VCs, a team of top notch scientists (Math & CS) was put together, its first product was introduced together with early revenues and YaData’s solution was recognized as a breakthrough in its field.
Prior to YaData, I founded Unipier in 2000, and led the company strategy, fund raising, organization build up, and sales growth to annual revenues of $5M.
In 1991, I was one of the founders of EVS Ltd. (Elbit Vision Systems, NASDAQ: EVSNF), and played a key role in its management, sales and marketing activities in Europe and Asia. In 1996, I established and managed EVS-US Inc, the US subsidiary of EVS.
I hold a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (via the IDF TALPIOT program) and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.

TaKaDu Ltd. is a software company which provides solutions to water utilities for water leakage detection.Using an advanced IT solution and holistic analytical methods, TaKaDu will locate actual and smaller water leaks easier, faster and cheaper.
TaKaDu takes advantage of the existing data available in most water distribution systems (flow & pressure information) and extracts insights regarding water losses in the network. The solution is based on mathematical models and advanced algorithms from several fields of computer science and signal processing.

Co-Founder and CEO of YaData - a venture in the field of micro-segmentation and behavioral targeting.
YaData's Segmentation Suite comprises of 2 products, the Segment Discovery and Ranking engine (SDR) and the Segment Relationship management module (SRM).
SDR - based on customer data (usage, demographics, surveys, etc.), the SDR creates a list of segments ranked according to their business relevancy, and requires no hypothesis or ad-hoc model building.
The unique IP underlying the SDR includes a novel ranking method which combines both statistical algorithms and business filters, to sieve through the ocean of micro-segments and find the most actionable, business relevant segments.
On March 2008, Microsoft Corp acquired YaData Ltd and the entire team joined the online advertisement arm of MSFT.
