Amy Mierzwinski has worked in marketing and advertising for over eight years. Her passion for this field began at Florida State University’s College of Communication, where she earned a B.A. in Communication with a specific focus in advertising. During her internship at a London-based advertising agency, a love of travel & tourism was discovered through her trips across Europe. Upon returning to the States, Mierzwinski furthered her career at a boutique, hospitality-marketing consultancy. While at Fareed Zapala Koepke, she was able to develop her skills in strategic market planning, branding, and campaign management while working directly with the consultancy’s well-respected hospitality clientele. In 2010, Fareed Zapala Koepke was acquired by Anson-Stoner, a full service advertising and communications agency. This allowed her to provide valuable account management, digital and creative project supervision, and annual planning services to larger hospitality accounts. She received her Master of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management in 2012 from the University of Central Florida’s internationally recognized Rosen College. After graduation, Mierzwinski accepted a position at Denihan Hospitality Group as a Marketing and Public Relations Manager for Affinia Hotels, where she lead the marketing and brand management of multiple New York-based hotels. She then returned to the agency-side of the business by joining, The Lacek Group, a specialty agency of Ogilvy & Mather, to provide account management and strategic guidance on the Starwood Preferred Guest program.

Serve as property-level brand management and marketing department head for Affinia 50 and Affinia Manhattan Hotels. Develop and implement property-specific annual/quarterly marketing and public relations plans. Manage relationships and collaborate with outside agencies for advertising, public relations, social media, and digital marketing to integrate strategies, positioning, and promotions across all channels. Develop pre-opening marketing plan and budget for Affinia 50’s $20 million, top-to-bottom renovation, complete with new property positioning and branding, new target markets, sales tools, internal and external communications throughout the renovation timeframe, and the planning/execution of the hotel's launch event.

Account supervision for multiple clients worldwide with sole focus on hospitality and travel clients. Develop, oversee and coordinate annual strategic marketing plans with the creative, public relations, interactive and media departments for print, interactive, broadcast, and direct marketing campaigns. Supervise and manage large projects such as website development, creation of digital assets, and rebranding initiatives. Direct brand management for the complete rebranding of multiple clients including new logos, photography, collateral, advertisements, social media, and/or websites. Work within the Webvantage project management system to assign jobs to creative, public relations, and interactive departments, and manage account billing and estimates.
