I have several years experience working in the government and non-profit sectors conducting research, administering and managing health services projects after initially beginning my career doing molecular biology research. The result is a comprehensive understanding of the health care sector. I seek to combine this experience with my more recent teaching experience to design, manage and implement health campaigns for an advocacy organization or administer a special initiative program for an association organization.

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cooperative agreement with Morehouse School of Medicine forming the Regional Research Center, a public health think tank.
Studied the morbidity and mortality of chronic diseases in special populations for the follow-up to the Secretary's Report on Minority Health. This work contributed to the body of research that ultimately proved the existence of health care disparities in the US health care system.
