I have been working with the web for a long time, but have been intensely focused on modern web technologies for about 5 years now. Most of my formal job experience has been in the public sector; First for the municipality, now for a state university. These environments have required a solid self-motivational work ethic since they are often under-staffed. Despite my experience here, I am looking to move away from web and into traditional development.

Technologies I have worked with include:
- HTML / CSS with an emphasis on accessible / usable code
- PHP
- MySQL, T-SQL

- Java (some), C# (some, in both WinForms and SDK-based Application Development)

I also frequently have to use the Adobe suite of applications, including Photoshop, Dreamweaver (I also hand-code a lot in either notepad or VI), administrating Contribute, and making Acrobat forms.

Semantically correct HTML, standards & cross-browser compliant coding, PHP & SQL-driven websites and applications, moderate server administration (primarily in a Linux environment) including Apache maintenance, URL rewriting, and shell scripting.
