    Citizen of Our World is a charity that will provide a web based information and voting system where members: 
    1 ‐ Decide what their money should be spent on 
    2 ‐ Monitor the progress of the elected projects 
    3 ‐ Communicate with project beneficiaries and other donors

    WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT 
    Democracy:
    Donors become members of a web‐based community and vote to assign fundings to projects, and to rate the NGOs in charge.

    Communication:
    Members can discuss project issues and priorities online in discussion groups, or within specific online communities of donors, and share 
    views with beneficiaries.

    Transparency: Ongoing projects’ progress is being documented online with reports, photos, videos, testimonials.

    Donors’ motivations:
    Empowerment of donors, communication with beneficiaries, transparency of projects, and gratification for contributions are key drivers of donors’ long term commitment according to scientific research in the fields of economics and psychology. Our charity will address the donors’ motivations and needs as much as possible.
