My background is one of an integrated brand planner and comms strategist, but at the moment my real fascination lies in the way in which technology is fundamentally changing the relationship that exists between people and brands.
I got into the digital world back in 1997 when I was at JWT. Digital was the reason that I moved to America, but I got frustrated at simply producing digital solutions in a silo and wanted to bring digital into the heart of the planning and creative process rather than an add-on at the end.
I don't really think of the online world and the offline world, I see just one world in which our job in agencies is to find relevant and meaningful ways to build connections between people and brands that result in sales.
My blog gives a good sense of the stuff that interests me and the work that I do.
