Institutional Repository and Digital Collections Librarian
Greater St. Louis Area
My current position is to head Missouri S&T's institutional repository (Scholars' Mine). Although most of the 'basics' are in place (platform, applications for contribution, etc) it is still a work-in-progress as we aim to create a way to have our Federated search (through Ex Libris) search the repository, feed out our metadata to Google Scholar, as well as other endeavors. My other duties include digitizing university publications such as the yearbook, alumni magazine, etc and finding an appropriate platform for that digital content. I am currently teamed up with the Yearbook committee to work on digitizing the RollaMOs.

Running the university's Institutional Repository, Scholars' Mine (http://scholarsmine.mst.edu/index.html). It is Documentum-based, but most applications and editors were created 'from scratch' through joint efforts between the librarians and IT applications team. This IR holds scholarly publications, ETDs, and will hold grey literature, data sets, patent information, and more in the future.
If you have any questions about self-archiving copyright, digitization, or DCQ metadata, feel free to ask!
