Amanda Margis’s Summary

I began my career as a high school teaching refugee. I enjoyed working with students and improving their reading and writing but found the classroom was not where I was best suited. Librarianship lets me keep the best parts of teaching, continuing education, reading enjoyment, and the unpredictability and pleasure of working with people. I completed my MLIS degree in May 2009 and am excited to implement my skills and knowledge.
