Alysson Fergison’s Summary

My professional experience varies widely. My career began in 1995 as a Senior Portrait Photographer with Lifetouch Prestige Portraits. I was promoted to Studio Manager within a year. In addition to performing all in-studio portraiture, I was solely responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail studio.

While still with Prestige in 2001, I accepted a temporary sales position with TruGreen ChemLawn. That quickly evolved into a permanent position as the Customer Retention Manager for a $6 million branch in Fishers, Indiana. In late 2005, I transferred from the Fishers branch to fill the same position at TruGreen's Jacksonville, Florida facility.

I took a brief hiatus from corporate life in mid-2006 to focus on a web development and search marketing project for Welcome Home Pet Sitting. My primary responsibilities with Welcome Home include web development, SEO, graphic design, and online reputation management.

Upon my completion of that project, I accepted a position as a Customer Retention Specialist with a small business website design and marketing company in Jacksonville in October of 2006. I remained with Web.com until November of 2008 when I accepted an in-house SEO position with a small software company in Jacksonville.

I have worked for the largest companies in their respective industries. Doing so has provided me with invaluable knowledge and experience that I could never have gained otherwise and I'm thankful for the advancement opportunities that have been presented throughout my career.

My aspirations do not include becoming a corporate magnate or finding contentment in corporate politics. I would prefer to be a part of a smaller operation - one that understands that a commitment to the work and the client takes precedence over shareholder demands, budget forecasts and bottom-line revenue goals. Doing what's right above all else means that everything will naturally fall into place and success is bound to follow.
