Alyse Speyer has a degree from University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Literature from the College of Creative Studies. She has several published poems in the 2008 Spectrum, Catalyst, The Bottom Line and was an editor for Into the Teeth of the Wind, a UCSB poetry publication. In addition to having a variety of published poems, she won first prize in poetry in CCS Most Excellent Writing Contest and has a short story published on http://www.underthisredrock.com. She speaks Spanish, French and has an understanding of Catalan. She spent a year abroad, studying at the Universitat de Barcelona.
Throughout her college career, Alyse has been a freelance copywriter for the Internet marketing firm the Web Success Team. Her responsibilities included writing client articles, blogs, web copy, content and e-reports. She specializes in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and researches new ways to drive traffic to her clients’ websites as well as helped their businesses offline with newsletters and workbooks. Additional responsibilities include account services where she interacted with clients to determine their web marketing needs and how to best achieve goals and objective. She currently writes for several businesses in the fields of finance, real estate, credit repair, online marketing, health, and nutrition.
