The How:
Allis’ love affair with the internet started back when computers made that weird bounce-fax noise and CompuServe ruled the net. Her NASA engineer father found that “computer time” was a constructive punishment for her outlandish behavior and attire- inventively, Allis had a lot of computer time. Luckily, it was time spent wisely.
In New York, Allis attended college at Adelphi University. In her Anthropological studies, Allis documented the internet’s effects on some of society’s more taboo sub groups. Interestingly, Allis feels that today's social platforms may owe fringe 'dating' sites a debt of gratitude.
After college, Allis combined her fascination with human social activities and the marketing industry by representing several large drinks brands with Winmark Concepts. Her shining moment being the creation of the Beauty For Life event, sponsored by MAC Make-Up and VOX Vodka, which raised over 30K for breast cancer research in just two nights.
In the pioneering spirit, Allis eventually headed west to Los Angeles where she continued marketing work in her more native online/social space with several Los Angeles agencies and clients.
In this time, Allis has combined her creative skills in technology, marketing, anthropology and problem solving to delve into the world of online and social media. She has created and executed several successful campaigns for her clients and developed elegant strategies for distribution across the online sphere.
Allis currently lives in Los Feliz where she can be seen nightly drinking red wine with her computer in her lap.

This was my own little social/viral marketing and media distribution company. We focused predominantly on branded video content and seeding it effectively throughout YouTube and the blogosphere. I may have moved on to more integrated campaigns and brand management, but this deep-dive into video distribution was very insightful.
