My company was formed in 2001 and since then we have experienced production work in many aspects of film and video. We've produced corporate videos for Fortune 200 companies, state agencies, county resources and local retailers. I've worked on film projects both short and feature length as well as a great deal of content designed for web distribution for clients on state and regional levels. From celebrities to the "everyman", our style of directing puts the on-camera talent at ease. We have developed strategic partnerships that can expand your success with any marketing solution.

KC Allen’s Specialties:

We can shoot in different NTSC and PAL formats and frame rates! We also excel with non-profits and fund-raising projects, commercials and narratives. I shoot in many platforms, but prefer the Sony CineAlta line. We use the Sony XDcam PDW350L and the XDCam PMW-EX1 series of tapeless HD cameras. We use top of the line sound equipment. We edit on Final Cut and are experts in encoding top quality HD video for the web.

  I organize an annual event wherein filmmakers have 48 hours to write, film, edit, score and turn in a 4-7 minute narrative. They are provided with a prop, a line of dialogue and a character that they must use in their films, and they also draw the genre of their movie from a hat. We had 26 teams in 2008, and 36 teams in 2009. One of the 2008 movies won 3rd place at Filmapalooza and went on to screen at Cannes, and is now a web series (www.aidan5.com)

But it was enough experience to lead me to an 18 year career, where I eventually became the program manager for an adult contemporary station. The glass ceiling in radio led me to entrepreneurship, and founding my own film and video company in 2001.
