Sr Internal Auditor at Farm Credit Services of America
Greater Omaha Area
I have worked in the world of accounting and audit since my graduation from college in May 2001. My work experiences include public accounting in a variety of industries and internal audit positions for a global real estate services company, an international hotel chain, a large food manufacturer, and a lending institution.
My professional roles have afforded me the opportunity to spend time developing relationships and gaining work experience in cities like Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, London and Moscow. I also spent nine months in northern Italy during college studying accounting, business, and the Italian culture and language.
My current responsibilities outside of working at Farm Credit Services of America include serving as the Financial Director for the Nebraska Association of Student Councils (NASC) and creating a website called Cancer Roadmap (www.cancer-roadmap.com). This volunteer position with NASC involves treasury duties and tax and financial statement preparation. The creation of Cancer Roadmap is an on-going project I have taken on as a result of my experience with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006; I have created it in order to provide advice and information to people fighting cancer as well as the friends and family that form their support networks.
