Anglo Far-East was founded in 1991 for a small group of wealthy families who were looking for a way to access the bullion markets, vault, and liquidate privately.
AFE has been called "the original" private bullion custodian. By leveraging a global network of institutional accounts with some of the largest LBMA certified refineries in the world, and vaulting with private firms outside the banking industry, AFE provides a level of protection against systemic risk that is simply un-matched.
Bypassing both the futures markets, as well as the 'bullion banks', AFE works at the core of the industry, and enjoys the same access to LBMA certified bullion as firms such as UBS, Credit Suisse etc.
Vaulting facilities are located in Switzerland with an LBMA accredited firm, and insured by Lloyds of London. Most importantly, the gold is vaulted outside the commercial banking system, reducing our clients exposure to OTC Derivatives and other systemic risk factors.

Our refineries can pour bars into the hundreds of tons per year levels, and our clients may choose to have us Security Lift the bullion for storage into our vaults in Switzerland, have the bullion lifted to their own vaults, or take physical delivery.
