Web Campaigner at Australian Council of Trade Unions
Melbourne Area, Australia
My expertise has been in the areas of online organizing and activism and the mechanisms needed for this work to be of most benefit to issue-based and election campaigns. This expertise also includes providing advice and detail on political strategies and messages, including media and online components. The skills and knowledge I have gained have given me the ability to provide advice, information, analysis and guidance on all aspects of issue-based and election campaigns
I have spent a predominant part of my working life working in and for not-for-profit organisations, both community-based and student organisations. I have held a range of paid and voluntary positions at all levels within such organisations. In my various capacities I have provided advice, direction, research, information, analysis and briefings; as well as personal commitment and support.
Throughout my working life I have continued to be a volunteer in a range of areas of personal interest, as well as maintained an active interest in local issues and affairs. In addition I have worked on a number of issue-based and election campaigns, providing advice, direction and analysis based on significant research and access to a range of networks.
