National Instruments Italy SRL is the Italian subsidiary of National Instruments Corp with offices in both Milan and Rome. I worked in the Rome office and was assigned a large geographical area to serve as an Inside Sales Representative (now known as a Technical Sales Representative). Being a very small office with about 5 employees, I had to take care of many tasks outside my normal job description. I learnt a lot from this experience and it has proven valuable in many situations that followed.
Technical Sales Representatives are essentially consultants who match customer needs and applications to solutions based on National Instruments technology. As a TSR I enjoyed learning about the incredible applications that my customers were turning into reality using systems I recommended. Their success was my drive and satisfaction... and still is to this day.
