Alex was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 1975. At the age of twelve he showed great interest in rock and guitar music.
After five years of private lessons in 1996, he decided to take one more year of private guitar lesson and prepared himself to study at the Los Angeles Music Academy.
He was studying music and guitar with teachers such as Frank Gambale, Bill Fowler, Jeff Richman, Joy Basu, Linda Taylor, Jean-Marc Belkadi and many more …
Alex graduated in September of 1998, came back to Germany and worked as a private guitar teacher.
Besides teaching he became the lead guitarist in the rock/pop band “Reinvented”. After winning several music and band contests, the band got signed with the record label BMG, recorded and released one album and several singles and toured all over Germany with bands such as Reamonn, Guano Apes, H-Blockx, Glow, LAW and many others …
During that time, he founded his project studio “The CellarRoom”, where he started to work as a composer and sound designer for video games.
Finally, in 2005 Alex joined Dynamedion, Germany’s leading sound design company for video games.
In late 2005, Alex moved to Hamburg, Germany … and until today he has been working on award winning video games, movie and game trailers, sample library demos and lots of other multimedia projects.
