Founder and CEO of LoudClick.net, a fully automated collaborative website builder, content management and syndication system. LoudClick websites have received global media attention and currently occupy top search engine rankings for hundreds of content assets and search terms. Responsible for all aspects of business development for LoudClick ranging from business planning, technology development and raising capital. LoudClick was a semi-finalist in Tech Crunch 50 and the Minnesota Cup business competitions.
Prior to LoudClick, Huff founded Global Bridge, a global technology outsourcing company. He also formed the Microsoft division of a legacy technology company, including achievement of Microsoft Certified Gold Partner status in 2005.
Huff has created web transition strategies for companies trying to adapt their business to the online marketplace. Clients have ranged from Fortune 500, niche publishing, unions, non-profits, small and medium sized companies.
In addition to Huff's formal business pursuits, he was responsible for revolutionizing the automotive PC market with the creation of one of the first integrated car computers and was a featured panelist at the 2004 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Huff also wrote and filed a provisional patent for a Virtual Restaurant technology. Huff is the author and publisher of the book "Just Queer Enough".
Huff's charitable pursuits include: founding member and co-chair of Responsible Minnesota Business, a non-profit business organization committed to business ethics, sustainability and fostering awareness. He also served on the board of CCAN, a local membership network of community technology centers and other non-profits, united in their commitment to provide technology access and education to under-served communities. Alex also worked to create awareness for free wifi in Minneapolis and was featured in the St. Paul Pioneer Press for his efforts to create a wireless Loring Park.
