I started early utilizing my parents business to learn as much as possible about the new technology boom known today as the internet. Soon after I joined the United States Army. There, I learned electronics repair utilizing several methods to test, troubleshoot and repair the broken or damaged electronic equipment.
In 2005 I was hired by Eaton Aerospace to help develop new technologies in the electronics industry. Working with a team dedicated to excellence we worked on projects for commercial aerospace and space projects. During this time I was building websites, scripts and software for several acquaintances.
In March of 2008 I accepted a position as the lead programmer for a search engine marketing company. The company has 40+ clients and I am usually interacting with their websites daily. This has provided the ability to work with several programming environments to expand my knowledge as a PHP programmer.
April of 2009 I accepted a position as the lead developer for a human resources company which hosts their services online. I work on the maintenance, upgrading and security of the application.

January 1994 — April 2009 (15 years 4 months)
Growing up around my parents' business I was able to attain some programming skills as well as hardware knowledge. I would assist them with issues with their business computers as well as create small programs for them to manage their company budget and stock.
I was the SysOp of a 5 line BBS at nights that hosted information for games popular in that time period. If local players needed information about getting a special weapon for doom they knew where the source was.
This was an easy way to get into programming as it was becoming very popular among my social group at the time. I learned to code using DOS BASIC and PASCAL. These opened the door to other programming languages such as C and C++. Now over the last 2 or 3 years I have been working with C#.
It seems like it was so long ago but over the years I have attained other knowledge such as programming for web development. One language that I was able to excel in is PHP.
