Alexandru Brie’s Summary

After studying Computer Science in Romania and getting a MSc at Ecole Polytechnique, the best French higher education institution, I went on to develop trading floor software used by some of the world's most important banks in the Murex team, Paris.

The dream of independence caught a hold on me, so I came back to Romania where, for the past 3.5 years I've been building innovative online and mobile products to make the world a simpler place.

I went from freelance developer to entrepreneur and creator of my own online products, then joined a Ruby on Rails startup in the US creating cool real estate online apps, as a remote Core team member, main developer and occasionally software architect for our line of products.

I'm currently working as indie developer, developing several iPhone products including a framework for easy publishing rich content ebooks and some independent games.

One could describe me as Web 2.0 entrepreneur and freelancer, independent software vendor, project manager, IT consultant, blogger.
