Since 1995 I have created and maintained high-profile, influential online sites because I passionately believe in the importance of sharing authentic content, connecting people with each other and continuously seeking out new ways evangelize social media.
As an early web adopter I didn't have access to blogging software, ad revenue, or cool kid points - pure enthusiasm, a love of technology and need to share/ connect online drove me to keep coding, creating and pushing the online boundaries. That passion translated to over 100K daily visitors, an engaged community and massive media attention. As interests and knowledge developed, I created more sites/communities in various verticals ahead of trends and always attracted at least 200K visitors, awards and massive press.
In 1996 I became one of the first recognized online influencers and major companies (Aveda, Jones Soda & Bliss Spa) sought my help to evangelize their products in online campaigns before it was a standard media practice. Those relationships taught me how brands and online audiences react and, as a result, I now help major companies and small brands connect to people online by creating and executing successful social media campaigns across multiple networks and diverse communities.
Whether it's building a website, creating community, writing content, creating viral campaigns, securing partnerships with established online influencers, I always know the right new media outlets, tools, and people to connect to. My diverse personal network of contacts helps me to identify market trends, emerging technologies and talent and my natural passion and people skills help me nurture and grow community relationships - not only from a social media point of view, but from a marketing, PR, financial, and above all, a human point of view.
While I always understand everything in the box, I like to work outside it. I believe in making the ordinary, extraordinary. Do you?
