Product: Feature Plan
Developed a tool to migrate existing application database content from RTF to HTML (Winforms C# MultiThread)
Developed an Image server where images are stored and served on demand. This was a required service for the RTF to HTML conversion. (ASP.Net C# and VB.Net)
Developed a dynamic tab control to allow Asp.Net 2.0 WebParts to be paged and organized. The tab control hierarchy is customizable and tabs could have as many sub tabs as required. The implementation of this new control into the product also required a migration plan, which I integrated with the controls default behaviors. (ASP.Net C#)

Built upon previously built tools, documented and prepared tutorials, user guides to help employees grasp and use newly built tools.
Built a supply chain simulation tool, used to isolate problem parts along the supply chain and to help create forecasts used to see how SAP would react and what actions are required to deliver on time.
Built a tool to compare and clean SAP reports. This tool created an easy and quick way for managers to find the differences between daily reports. Using this tool they save 30 to 40 minutes time per report and are able to identify what has been added, changed or removed from the report since last night.
Built a tool to identify and follow critical path parts required to deliver engines to the final customers. This tool fed itself from SAP, cleaned the data and analysed it to find which parts were responsible for delays and facilitate the tracking of these parts per engine on a daily basis.

February 2006 — June 2006 (5 months)
Maintained, documented and developed new features for the departmental Excel custom toolbar; features such as, template formula rows which get replicated on a full region. This option reduces human error and allows for someone to easily reuse a spreadsheet. It also allows one to create complex workbooks and easily maintain it. Other features added were mostly related to automated report generation. The goal of these tools was to once again reduce the amount of repetitive tasks and allow the employee to concentrate on the problem at hand and not on how to execute a certain task in Excel.
From the documentation, I built a course plan, and gave a course to all of the department employees. This course had as a goal to inform and interest the most advanced Excel users. These would hopefully become spokesmen and help propagate the tools to the other employees in a goal to create a new work standard. I gave the course twice in Montreal, was then flown to Toronto to give 2 more times.

Documented existing commonly used functions, found in internally used Excel spreadsheets. These functions allowed an employee to quickly analyse SAP reports and reduce redundant work.
Built analysis tools which use MS Query to read data from Oracle, it then cleans up the data and does a full analysis. At the end producing a full report including charts, pivot tables and a complete PowerPoint. This tool automated 15 hours per week of managerial time.
Automated the Operations Product Management (OPM) budget using Excel to keep a history of each quarter. This tool ensures that before a full budget summary could be produced; all the managers had produced the required information. This tool is also flexible and lets the owner activate certain pages and omit pages from the summary calculations. This tool also saved a great deal of time for the accountant and departmental managers.
