Consulting for sustainable retail…
… what's that? Today, where the retail business strives for uniformity and where planned efficiency overwrites individuality, I develop concepts which are essentially customer-oriented. It pulls me to create retail personalities out of humans, brands and products. Customers are, however, on their daily search for confirmation of their values and … products!
The retail customer generally needs positive experiences in order to be amazed (and convinced to continue repeat buying). These experiences are not just created by expensive locations and standard merchandising.
I advise retailers to be proactive with their customers, to presentation their products successfully and in everything they do, to create a positive shopping experience. Holistic is an appropriate term: each detail is important, but still more important is a convincing big picture. Here innovation and courage are increasingly necessary.
Developing fascinating and surprising retail is my goal: in the fields of location, shop operations, customer service standards, and, of course, in the range and combination of products offered.
