Stage at Telecom Italia Lab (TILAB) in Torino. My activities were included in the scope of an IST international project named LION. LION aimed to design, realize and test an innovative transport network framework named ASON (Automatic Switched Optical Network). LIONs major contractors were: Telecom Italia, CISCO Systems, T Systems, Siemens Munich and Tellium. I was in charge of
Definition (in accordance with ITU and IETF recommendation) and implementation in C language of a GMPLS/ASON Control Plane;
Definition and implementation of the interfaces between Control Plane and Management System, the RSVP signalling deamon and the OXC Node Controller.
