Recruiter at the Bonadio Group (cwessell@bonadio.com)
Albany, New York Area
I have been in the recruiting business for over five years and, although I've spent a significant portion of that time focused on technology roles, I have recruited for positions ranging from everyday business needs (accountants, salespeople, etc) to the unusual and/or highly specialized (flavor scientists, wind engineers, etc).
Besides direct experience in recruiting I also offer consultative expertise in recruitment process design (including metrics) and applicant tracking system selection.
I am on the Board of Directors of the Capital Region Human Resources Association, the local chapter of Society for Human Resource Management (over 800 members). I received my PHR certification in January of 2009. I am also active in the Capital Region Recruiters' Network and other networking groups.
Outside the world of recruiting, I am the alumni advisor for Tau Kappa Epsilon at UAlbany, president of my fraternity's Alumni Association, and a member of the Board of Directors of the UAlbany Alumni Association.

The Bonadio Group’s Source HR was formed to provide companies with targeted human resources solutions specifically tailored to fit their needs. Our philosophy is based on the idea that high quality human resources support shouldn’t be cost prohibitive. Rather, it should be available to all businesses, regardless of size.
We bring this philosophy to life through:
-Recruiting Services
-Human Resource Support Services for Small Business
-Human Resource Compliance Programs
-HR Program Development and Management Services

I teach a career skills course on Thursday nights at Mildred Elley, a local private two-year occupational college. This course covers topics such as resume writing, cover letters, interview skills, follow up techniques, organizing and managing your job search, and how networking will improve your chances of landing the job you want. I enjoy this class tremendously, and derive a great deal of pleasure in knowing that they come out of the class with at least a few more tools and resources at their disposal.

At Yoh, I focused on the fulfillment of various IT requirements for our national accounts.
The positions I have filled, across a variety of industry verticals, include support/infrastructure roles (network admins, help desk, etc), application development, data warehousing, business analysts, test engineers, project managers, senior IT management, and more. I have also spent a significant amount of my time at Yoh recruiting for SAP consulting positions, for both functional and technical roles.
In my time at Yoh I've also spent several months working as a corporate recruiter, filling internal recruiter and sales positions at our branches across the US.
Additionally, I served as a "power user" for Bond Adapt, our applicant tracking system, providing users in my region with training and first-level support.

Linium's consulting practice engages in implementations of HP (formerly Peregrine) enterprise infrastructure management solutions. In addition to directly recruiting for our requirements, I spent a good deal of time pipelining this fairly narrow (and high demand) skill set in order to shorten the recruiting cycle and increase referrals, as well as build brand awareness.
Besides recruiting consultants for Linium's Peregrine practice, I made numerous placements at several NYS & NYC government agencies, and for private sector clients ranging from small Albany-based firms to nationally recognized companies.
