I have demonstrable expertise in HTML, CSS, print design, typesetting, editing video/audio/photographs, hardware/software support and API integration. My layout sensibilities and color coordination skills are, shall I say... awesome. I've got years of experience using Adobe C. (Currently shifted into BBEdit or TextMate w/Coda and Acorn for dev/design, and I'm learning both git and svn for version control.) Notable: through my roles as a consultant, speaker, and instructor I have effortlessly leapt over the communication abyss between "techies and non-techies". Thus, I can explain virtually anything to anyone. And actually enjoy it. I know, right?
In addition to design work, I've done project management and hardware/software/networking/AV technical support for the high-profile clients of a NYC-based technological services company. Ask me from which award-winning actress' laptop I removed a virus: I'll never tell!
As if that extensive set of super-useful skills and aptitudes is not enough, I am a regular guest speaker (as well as an instructor) on the topics of digital portfolio creation, e-commerce and content management systems.
In summary: if it has to do with the internet or a gadget, for me it is analogous to the sweet water of the open sea to a baby beluga.
