Amanda Kubik’s Summary

I am a recent graduate from American University's public communication undergraduate program. While at AU I participated and led the school's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, serving as a Regional Activity committee member and president during my three years with the chapter. I have also been an intern with a variety of organizations, from non-profits to corporations and agencies, performing a wide-range of tasks in event planning, promotions, communications, and research. Following graduation, I moved back to my home state - Minnesota - and I am eager to continue growing in my marketing communications career.

I seek opportunities where I can utilize and expand my skills in strategic planning, ideally working in a communications AND marketing environment. I am an analytical thinker and believe research before and after a campaign is key to delivering success. I also have a creative side; I love creating publication layouts in InDesign and taking thousands of photographs for my collection. A true Gen-Y'er, I explore new technologies on a daily basis and never cease to be amazed at what I find.
