    - Developed an interactive COM-based Win32 application for automatic detection and tracking of objects in motion images. To detect objects, the program utilizes image segmentation by thresholding, which includes histogram-based algorithm for automatic threshold selection. The program is written in Visual C++ using Microsoft ActiveMovie SDK and ATL.
    - Developed interactive Visual C++ programs used for teaching quantum physics at the introductory level, as a part of the Visual Quantum Mechanics project.
    - Developed a C++ class library to provide a high level, object-oriented interface to the IBM ActionMedia II video board under Windows. The library was built on top of Intel's AVK API and was designed to integrate with Borland's OWL library.
    - Participated in the development of Physics InfoMall - a database system for physics teachers. The software is implemented for Windows and Macintosh platforms using XVT portability toolkit for C/C++.
