I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Seton Hall University in 1999 and I have been in the creative field for over 10 years. Throughout my career as both a freelance and full time designer and illustrator, I designed products, characters, clothing, stationery, cards, packaging, logos, stickers, collateral, corporate identities and interactive media.
All of my experiences have prepared me well and made me capable of completing quality work while handling many different types of projects at once. Moreover, I have completed many freelance projects over the years while working at my full time jobs and some of these projects were either short term or long term, but I always produced the highest quality of work that I am capable of for each and every client. I enjoy creative challenges and producing the highest quality work possible. In addition, I am also extremely detail oriented and I have an eye for excellent style, current and past design trends and color.
In addition to being a full-time designer, I also have my own line of homemade greeting cards, specialty packaging and stickers that are sold at the local card and gift shops near my home. I do everything myself from start to finish, in terms of coming up with the designs, characters, etc., then I create the cards, boxes and stickers, print them, cut them, and I also put together the boxes.
During the last several years, my artwork has been on exhibit at various group shows. Two exhibits that I was proud to participate in were Process Invisible and The I-MyGrate Project. For Process Invisible, which ran through June and July 2007 at Street Level Gallery in Portland, Oregon, I illustrated a set of vinyl stickers composed of characters and scenes. I designed two unique characters for The I-MyGrate Project, which took place during September of 2007.
I am well versed in Adobe Illustrator. I also have a high level of experience with Photoshop, in addition to Flash, InDesign and Painter. I also comp (assemble) my own boxes and other pieces of packaging and cards that I design.
