I've been developing with Java since 1.1 (10+ years) in various environments (applets, applications, servlets, webapps, ejb, Eclipse Rich Client). Just starting to dabble with GWT.
In my current role Im responsiblew for maintenance and continued work toward integration of Atlassian products such as Confluence, Jira, Fisheye, Bamboo etc within my corporate net. In this work I have create several Open Source 'plugins'.
Goals include continuing to get paid to develop innovative solutions for my employer, or under separate contract.

I work in IT, typically back-office stuff, using Java/Jboss/Eclipse/Linux + too many API's to mention. I also manage the companies Confluence and Jira instances.

Working mostly on windows, using Tomcat and Java/JSP. Business was based on a n e-Learning product (a java applet), did some work on that and tools to support editing and development. Introduced first linux server in the company that crunched software builds allowing first 'diff' between builds, auto generation and deployment of javadoc documentation. Managed Solaris 8 system.
