I am an MBA graduate with over 7 years experience in the I.T. industry. I started my career as a web designer, during which I trained myself to become a web programmer. I worked for 4 years for Sify, which is India’s largest internet company. I was recruited as a software engineer and after recognizing my business acumen, the management at Sify asked me to join the business team. I was offered the responsibility of managing Sify’s highest earning property, Samarchar.com.

Three months into the role, I was chosen by the President of the business to be part of a 3 member team that would launch online video gaming across 3000 internet cafes. These internet cafes were spread all over India. The members of this team were expected to undertake every responsibility that was required to develop a product from a concept stage to launching and marketing the product. The project was successfully completed in 8 months.

With this extensive experience under my belt, I decided that the timing was perfect to complete an MBA and I chose UNB as their MBA program was among the Top MBA programs in Canada. Following my Graduation from UNB, I was offered a role in the marketing department at Innovatia. I have been responsible for launching a new business line for Innovatia in the IP space. Similar to my role at Sify, the position at Innovatia required starting a new business and demanded product management skills along with strategic and tactical decision making.
