The team determines Solaris driver needs on X86 platforms, including top Sun's OEM partners (Intel, IBM and Dell) based on marketing information, data collected from developers worldwide and IHVs. Plans and schedules are devised.

    Under my leadership, the team has successfully delivered dozens of Solaris drivers in networking (wireless and wired), storage, desktop and human experience including audio, video, and USB. Some of the drivers were ported to SPARC, Sun's high end workstation and server platforms. In addition to my development responsibilities, I currently serve as Host Director for Solaris in Beijing (close to one hundred and fifty engineers), and Deputy General Manager for Sun China in Beijing.
