Beauty Blogger/Publicist & Chief Blogger Pierce Mattie PR
Scranton, Pennsylvania Area
Shannon has always had a passion for writing, beauty and fashion. She is thrilled to be able to combine the three through her blogging and work as a Publicist. It was writing A Girl's Gotta Spa, which she began in 2005, that launched her career. Now she writes Makeup Minute for b5media, is the Chief Blogger for Pierce Mattie PR and is also their Publicist.
When Shannon is not working, you can find her chasing her four sons around whose ages are 9, 6, 3 and 1. Sometimes she is glad to be blessed with the ability to multi-task.

I write for Pierce Mattie Public Relations on their main blog, beauty, fashion, fitness and jewelry blogs. The focus is to engage people in conversation through my posts and provide food for thought across the industry.
I'm also the Publicist for Pierce Mattie PR and responsible for creating awareness about the firm and its capabilities across the industry.

Makeup Minute engages its readers through makeup reviews, tips and asking them for their experience and opinions on various products. Oftentimes you will find the readers engaging in conversation in the comments, which is always a sign of a great thought provoking post.
As I do with A Girl's Gotta Spa, Makeup Minute is written from the perspective of the average consumer engaging in trying out only products that would be of interest to me...which is most often what is of interest to my readers.

I am the "girl" behind A Girl's Gotta Spa! A Beauty blog written, not from the point of view from a beauty industry professional, but as a typical consumer. This beauty blog focuses on beauty news, tips and product reviews.
When I blog, consumers listen, mostly because I speak to them and not above them. I continue to be contacted by beauty industry Public Relations professionals to send me products to try out and review, of which my readers can be guaranteed an honest review.
