Senior-level Strategy & Business Developer in Social and Digital Media
United Kingdom
I'm a consultant, developing and integrating online social media, digital and offline traditional business development and marketing strategies for businesses that need to drive their sales & marketing activities.
I use a managed process to work with clients, understanding their business requirements and helping them build their activity. I advise and formulate relevant and appropriate marketing strategies and tactics, including social media and digital, and then execute an agreed set of activities to help achieve the required business objectives.
My experience spans the broad range of the marketing mix including online & offline PR, social media, digital (web, email, wireless, broadcast, viral) activity, direct marketing, events and others. Based in the UK, I have worked with both start-up and larger international organisations, and have operated at a senior marketing level in European markets for a number of clients. My regional network of contacts means clients are assured of finding the best marketing partners and service suppliers wherever they want to operate and target customers.
A few achievements:
* Transformed a client's marketing across the mix, including a PR strategy switch from trad. offline to social media & online - generating significant growth in awareness and interest
* Built a complete European marketing strategy, infrastructure and process for a major US marketing technology vendor, driving a 30% increase in regional revenue
* Launched a youth & young adult social network from initial planning meeting to "live" in under 6 weeks, achieving major acquisition targets on budget and 25% ahead of time.
I like to work with interesting, creative and innovative companies and people where my approach of hands-on management and "can-do" excellence means I can get results.
