Jack Miller’s Summary

I started this organization because I found it to be a passion. My first trip started to define what this organization was going to be about and how it would continue. I soon found out that it wasn't all that easy. It definitely wasn't like any of the experiences I had within my volunteering and board of directors positions.

My partner and I founded the AfricaJack Foundation and in June 2007, we received the 501(c)(3) notification within 60 days from application. It's truly a magical experience. The connections we have made with people who have a desire to help or are doing something. We can all do our part - small or large.

It's definitely been a learning experience and one that I wouldn't change. It has taught me a lot about the differences in what people say they are going to do and what results they actually achieve. It's also tested my own commitment and every day I move forward because of it.

Because of this new venture, I have also started consulting again. My vision to help the people within small and medium-sized businesses realize their goals and exceed expectations through using the tools available to them on the web. Life is hectic and 2008 really sucked. However, 2009 is our year to shine! We have some exciting campaigns that we are working on.
