Ana Flavia Castro’s Summary

In April 2009, I’ve concluded a Corporate Social Responsibility research in partnership with SMART (Sustainable and Management for Research and Training Institute) at The University of Queensland (Brisbane - Australia). The study consisted in analyzing the sustainable business practices from Australia and Brazilian energy and financial industry firms.

Effective on March 2005, I started to join the Public Affairs Office team at Citi Brazil, working with Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Previously, I worked with internal communications, producing newsletters, magazines, intranet website and also coordinating the internal events at Citi.

Prior to Citigroup, I worked as an intern for a communication office, where I used to develop the Safra and Dibens Banks internal newsletters. I also worked as intern for Werner Publishing in Los Angeles (EUA), during a month, and developed some jobs as a designer graphic and journalist for Abril Publishing, one of Brazil's largest publishing & media organizations.

I am open to new challenges in global companies that values and develops social and enviromental initiatives, as well as is committed with transparency in communicating their efforts regarding their stakeholders. My preference industries are Banking (specially Micro credit field), Private Foundations and Institutes, Public Relations and Communication, Energy and Social Organization.
