Adrian Gonzalez is Lead Researcher at The Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX). He joined MIX in 2004 where he performs global analysis of microfinance institutions data collected primarily by MIX and other leading organizations. His research focuses on topics such as risk and portfolio quality, efficiency, depth of outreach, sustainability and interest rates. Before joining MIX, he was a Researcher at The Rural Finance Program from The Ohio State University (OSU), where he worked on microfinance, poverty reduction, and development issues in Latin America. Adrian Gonzalez is a Ph.D. in Finance and Development from the Development Economics Program at The Ohio State University. He also received a M.A. in Economics from OSU.
