Innovation Technician at HSBC
Sheffield, United Kingdom
I am an Innovation Technician with HSBC. I have been with the bank for 10 years and have a wide range of experience in information technology.
My current role is focused on the investigation of new technologies and how they can be utilised to aid the growth and improve the running of the organisation. My current areas of investigation are web 2.0 and how the advances made can be applied to the enterprise i.e. enterprise 2.0. Other areas of focus include NFC and contactless technologies both in payments and marketing as well as pretty much anything else that is new, interesting and geeky.
I am finding my way within the web 2.0 world and I am using a number of services to both increase my awareness of what is going on in the real world and to gain a greater understanding of how the networked world is changing business.
