Born in the North-East of England, Pepper began her career as an actress and singer/songwriter from a very early age. She first appeared on stage at the tender age of 3 and knew that this was wanted she wanted to do with her life. Since then, she has appeared in dozens of productions.
As well as studying at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts from the age of 11, Pepper has also shared her knowledge and skills as a voice coach, singing teacher and mentor on many projects and productions. With her many years of experience, she has also been active in supporting new talent within the industry. Although, she has worked in both, television and film, her first love is the theatre.

Pepper Rutter is a Co- Director of Incorporating Addy Rutter Casting and Rutter Production Services; providing cast, crew and production facilitation as well as support and independent consultancy services to the film and digital media industry.
As well as being a member of the selection committees of several film festivals, Addy Rutter was previously the Director of the Bite the Mango Film Festival at the National Media Museum, Bradford; works as an independent Executive Producer for both shorts and features and is a member of the Project Team for the Bradford City of Film.

Quest, is an Indian Arthouse Theatre play set in the 21st century.
The job role was to teach, guide and correct the pronounciation as well as teach the intonation of the vowel sounds to the Actors, therefore enabling clear pronounciation for the performance. This was Quest's first performance in English.
