Welcome, If you grow and need help please write and I'll gladly share whatever Knowledge I can with you at no cost. I'll be posting our abbreviated conversation minus your personal details on my blog; http://adam-maeroff.blogspot.com/ for others to learn what they can as well. Here in Pittsburgh my family and I run a small urban farm using sustainable agricultural methods without the use of pesticides to grow a variety of crops using fare less space and water than soil grown operations. My farming background is rich with tours abroad growing everything from bananas to Tomatoes in the desert sand. I am also an artist and that has been very helpful to me in this field because I can draw a parallel between choosing mediums and techniques as a painter with doing so when deciding on systems and methods to grow plants. I just use what works. With that said, my aim is to grow upwards, use energy as wisely as possible and develop further systems and techniques to enable people everywhere to grow fresh food. I would also like to see less land going toward growing crops for animals to eat on there way to slaughter and more left as open spaces before we run out of resources.
I am a Sustainable Agriculture Consultant & A Natural Grower Of Fine Produce & Herbs

Adam Maeroff Co is a grower of grains, herbs, produce and specialty products made from them. We employ cutting edge sustainable methods such as drip irrigation in none traditional media, vertical, cylindrical and deep water culture hydroponics. All of which use fare less land and water than traditional farming and no pesticides. We also engage in Aquaponics, although not to raise fish for food. Rather to include them in an ecosystem where their waste is used by our plants for food and then returned clean to their environment. The techniques we have developed have been purposely tailored to using readily available materials so that they can be replicated anywhere on the globe where people want to grow fresh food.
