Adam is a hands-on, enthusiastic engineering manager, mentor, and architect who focuses on communication, best practices, and leadership by example. He has been an engineering executive or senior department member for 10+ years, responsible for 80-90% of corporate sales.
His passion is in bringing together technology experts, internal resources, and customers at every level from technician to executive. He proves on a daily basis that "technical" doesn't have to mean "incomprehensible."
In addition to routine management, design, and corporate fire-prevention, Adam excels at "et cetera" -- the tasks that others avoid due to their high degree of risk, complexity, or difficulty.
Subscribing to Tom Peters' observation that "Leaders do not create followers; they create more leaders," Adam loves to hold "lunch 'n' learn" seminars, sharing information about strategies, technical expertise, and anything else that boosts efficiency, sales, or morale.
His ongoing goal is to convert ION's most critical problems into his best successes; to identify and remove obstacles to productivity; and to cultivate excitement and creativity in his coworkers by celebrating their accomplishments while encouraging them to laugh and learn from mistakes.
